Here at Seattle Pops we are a team focused company! We hope to work with you, to not only help you make some money this summer, but also build a relationship with you that helps build the foundation of your working career! Seattle Pops is a local ice cream and fruit-based Popsicle company in the Seattle area. We partner with local farmers who provide us with the best ingredients to make our all-natural pops. We currently sell our pops at our brick and mortar located in Wallingford, local Seattle summer events, catering, and in 20+ farmers markets per week throughout the surrounding Seattle area.
We are currently looking for highly motivated, self-starters, reliable and quick seasonal-full time and seasonal part-time team members for a variety of positions! Please see below!
Snapshot Information:
Must be available a minimum of 25+/hrs a week with flexible availability throughout the week and weekend
18+ years old preferred and prioritized
No planned vacations/absences longer than 7 days in a row unless otherwise discussed prior to commitment with Seattle Pops

Pay:
Kitchen Team Members - $17.50 / hour
The following teams are paid - $17.25 / hour due to the nature of receiving cash tips in these positions:

Electronic Tips are disturbed among all the teams over a 2 week pay period based on hours worked during that time.
Based on previous data and economic climate, most team members make around $22-27 / hour in total depending on the flow of the summer season.
Position descriptions:
Kitchen Team Member
Kitchen Team members in the kitchen will work in a dynamic and fast paced environment. In the kitchen you will learn the basics of food prep, making our pops, bagging, freezing, storing, and kitchen safety.
Qualifications / job description:
Food prep experience preferable
Food Handlers card – prior to starting
Task and detailed orientated
Quick learner and efficient use of time
Stand for long periods of time – up to 8 hours with breaks
Ability to lift 25-30lbs repeatedly
Ability to work individually and as a team
Ability to follow company procedures/protocols and flavor recipes precisely
Positive attitude
Attention to details and food safety (handwashing/cleaning)
Keep a clean work station throughout your shift
Work early morning and/or evening shifts & weekends
Farmers Markets Team Member
Team members at the Farmers Markets will interact with our customers face to face while getting to enjoy the great Seattle summer and local communities. You will be in charge of setting up and breaking down the booth stall and selling our product during the duration of the market (4–5-hour markets). Farmers Markets are the core of our business and have allowed us to grow as a company. We source many of our fresh ingredients right from the stalls next to our booth. Our presences at these markets provide a sense of community and support for other local businesses. Weekday markets shifts range from 1pm/2pm start time and can end around 6, 7, or 8:30pm with some variances depending on the market Weekend markets shifts are usually from 7am/7:30am start time and can end at 2, 3, or 4pm with some variances depending on the market
Qualifications / job description:
Must be 18 years or older
Clean driving record
Access to a van, SUV, or large hatchback type car preferable – some small cars work too (IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS POSITION, please email me what type of car you have available)
Gas mileage gets reimbursed at $0.67 per mile reimburse (leaving to go to market and back)
Ability to work weekends preferred and prioritized for hiring
Top customer service and interaction skills
Consistency with market set up/breakdown
Top communication with customers / market managers
Ability to lift, load and unload market gear and coolers – heavy lifting required for set up/break down of market gear
Stand for long periods of time – 8 hours with breaks
Ability to problem solve and handle large crowds

Ability to follow company standards and procedures
Catering & Event Team Member
This team is dedicated to serving clients such as Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Weddings, Music concerts at Climate Pledge Arena, sporting events and other corporate events. This team will also be in charge of attending several large-scale events throughout the summer such as Timberfest and Ballard Seafood Fest. Previous catering experience preferred, but not required. This position will require the highest standard of professionalism, customer service, and quick problem solving. We are looking for someone who is a quick learner and loves to interact with people.

Must be 18 years or older

Store Team Member
Team members in the store will work directly out of our brick and mortar in Wallingford. The store is open Mon - Sun (*subject to change) and team members will interact with customers, get to meet the regulars and assist with any/all questions/concerns from customers while serving our delicious product! Opening shift starts at 11:30am/12:30pm and ends around 9:30pm/10:30pm *Subject to change depending on time of year
Qualifications / job description:
Previous customer service experience preferable
Ability to problem solve and think quick on your feet
Cash handling experience preferable
Ability to handle large crowds
Ability to work in the evening and weekends preferable
Efficient use of time
Maintain a clean work environment
Perform opening and/or closing procedures
Assist with store tasks and support kitchen when needed
